Wow I am new here and just read this whole thread - hahaha and yeah anyone that blurts out to you anything other than that lil plant is over watered is pretty thoughtless to suggest anything else.

Ruderalis ... AutoFlowering was created by mexican and russian strains ,of this very short growing plant, being cross bread. I guess it's hard to grow weed over the upper 27* hahahaha anyhow it still needs to Veg and if it's an "AutoFlowering" plant it needs more than 1 month B4 that could even start to happen.

Autos are "plug and play " ... Meaning you sow the seed , it grows.
BUT ... it is more susceptible to stress , over watering and transplant issues.
I always plant seed within final container ( 3 - 5 gallon ) anything larger for an auto is a waste ... Due to its limited veg time and rootmass at time of preflower.
From seed to around day 30 ( until it preflowers ) is the time NOT to stress it for any reason. The base soil medium ( soil ) should have enough nutrients embedded in mix to carry plant up to week 5 / sexing / preflower. These plants are hardwired to go from seed to harvest usually within 90 days for most strains ... Breeder estimates are to be taken lightly as these will perform better PAST the listed harvest time.
Autos do not have the TIME to recover from issues such as stress or whatever. So if you get a stunty plant from the start it will barely do well. I say let it try to come around ....
And see if it will continue. Misting every 3-5 days should be enough for now.

The first commercial auto strains were derived from a Mexican ruderalis cross.
Ruderalis is from the Siberian region. Up north where growing conditions are harsh and the days are 20-24 hours long during summer. The reason for lack of photoperiod.
The tap root on ruderlis is what determines flower. The root hits the permafrost and goes into flower.
Though ruderalis can be found in places like Mexico it originated from up north.

The first commercial auto had Mexican ruderalis in it. Lowryder. The name of the strain. That is what you are thinking of.
