so my 6 inch Can-fan was pulling way too much air out, so I put it on a blueprint fan controller. So can-fan tells you not to operate at 40% or below as you can burn up the motor. I hooked up a kill a watt meter to find out where 40% lies. Well at full speed it runs at 75 watts so 40% would be around 30 watts...low and behold the lowest the blueprint controller allows it to go is around 46 watts. Which is fine for me as I will not be running it that low.
Now I probably will get a day/night fan temp controller so I can just "set it and forget it" ...just a bit of info on my set up. A simple Kill-A-Watt meter is like 20-30 bucks and is nice to be reassured.
