The 33 means he popped 100 phenos most breeders or growers do this if serious shit DNA genetics pops thousands and pheno hunts over an acre of greenhouse. People do it here how you think there's wifi 43, gelato 41, and so on. There's good breeders in America hell I just started and pop 100 at a time when pheno hunting it's part of breeding searching it all and finding what you can.
I think we are agreeing here.
I am saying many are just crossing wifi 43 and gelato 41 or whatever and selling those seeds as a real cross when it is just a pollen chuck.
They skip the time consuming step that should come next or they don't have the space to do what you described.
The Jack 33 is not what you say though. He is a classic old school breeder and many plants were searched out and stabilized for years before that one. One of the parents is a hybrid with a cubed pollen mix of old classic sensi seed co. Strains from way back.
It all started in 1993 I believe for ch9. And Yumbolt was one of the original crosses with the original ch9 hybrid from California.
He called that resulting plant "Flower" and it is in one of the Big book of buds books with a few other ch9 strains.
Flower and the best new jack from the early 2000's became Jack 33.
And a decade later the next step.......
