Round 2 Day 93 of 14/10 from seed under Timber's cxb 3590 4000k & osram 660/730nm trigger up my ass (322w)==== with my 3 God/blue diesel ladies
........About what I expected from 300w+ of top bin cobs. Filling out nicely and I'm still picking off lower larf for a buzz. Never recovered from the slight defs they have with a slow release vegan fert, shocker! did OK with these high output cobs IMO.
........... A hardy C3 plant it is, low-mid 60's in flower and still performed quite well. Amazing to me how I wrote off the slacker(front) early on and she came back to produce some of the biggest buds to prove me wrong. She was so far behind I almost culled her but luckily I let it play out.....
......as you can see they are leaning to the left from the weight, orca wall on the right is all lit up. I will try to straighten them out for the last week or so.be safe and happy growing RIU

You should grow your own if you can, I bet the US market around the same # .....from personal AG experience I dump it on(depends on the season) unfortunately to keep tons per acre, but my consumers don't inhale food crops====soooooo I can sleep better at night.......maybe

yeah alot of people dont get the concept of food crops vs crops we smoke.its hard to inform them how chemicals react when burned vs being washed off before cooking lol.

Many pesticides don't wash off, they are systemics that are in the plant tissue. Many are then absorbed into your fat tissue. They are not considered toxic because on a short enough timeline they are relatively harmless. After accumulating in your body for 20, 30, 40 years who knows....very little research done at those intervals.
If you eat conventional produce...you are the test pool...good luck with that I hope you're right!
Support small organic farmers and buy weed from dispensaries that test at a reputable lab. In Berkeley there are mandatory pesticide/microbe screens for everything from rosin to rice crispy treats. I feel badly for anyone who doesnt have this system in place. I've said it before...if you knew how many samples here are rejected for eagle20 alone, you would never smoke another untested nug.

Their is a difference between inhaling or ingesting toxins though.............one bypasses some filters
I agree US AG practices have to change, but farmers are scared of lower yields. The chemical revolution goes three generations back now. It's going to be a hard road and most consumers don't want wholefood$$$$ pricing either.

not only the pricing but right now organic farming cant support this country for even a month.if we all went out and switched to organic tomorrow it would be out of stock in quick fashion.

And I will be the first to admit that as someone born and raised in the sf bay area it is unfair to preach to someone in Michigan about organic produce in January.
But that being said, there is a reason I can go to a farmer's market <15mins from my house 6 days a week....people go and spend money there rain or shine, day in, day out, 310+ days a year.
A lot of people think of that model as a novelty but I can tell you one thing is for sure....it's a lot harder to sell someone a head of lettuce that you've sprayed with poison when they're looking you in the eye and shifting their baby to the other hip to get out the money to pay you.

Where a "cannabis researcher" claims it could actually be the pesticides that got people high all this time, and another christian chemist claims the effect may stack.
The original research is over a year old already. The intended conclusion was "Only the cannabis available at pharmacies (mediwiet) is produced under quality conditions." But it turned out to be negligible and surprisingly clean compared to food. 97% with averages of 30-40 pesticides (cocktails) for many common veggies and fruits.
Assuming the worst case scenario, when 100% of the trace amounts in the bud ends up in the body (not the case when you burn them...), the research also shows the pesticides are 3% of the maximum concentration allowed in one single case. Far less in the others, as little as 0.001%. In about half the cases so little they couldnt really measure it. Besides buddha cheese most was found in poor man's bags (crumbles from multiple bags...) and mass produced white widow. Do not eat more than 18gram buddha cheese or 180gram northern light per day!
I agree homegrown is better than at least 90% in shops but there's nothing reliable about that piece of propaganda meant to ensure bedocran will remain the only one with a permit.

.............talk about slow. I looped them and most are around 10% amber and one lady is still early. 14/10 from seed with 4 = 730nm emitters isn't that effective at quickening maturity with the extra light period IMO. It does add bulk and TIME, so weigh your options.........personally I'm going back to 12/12 or even 13/11(+ 730) from seed would work better with these indicas. Heavy Sat leaning forget about it unless your training for a Grinspoon run
.........Ran a velcro strap around them for support and defoliated the center to keep good air circulation within the canopy. Going to feed them a shot of sugar water(agave) and a 2-3 day dark period before chop. Almost over and a new adventure begins.
