When Does Life Begin ...

Like I said, what do you really think the likelihood of it even being passed on a State Level?
It's not every likely.
I have stated over and over in this thread that I am Pro-life, (I don't even believe in the Death Penalty) But realistically I know that a referendum of that nature has a snowballs chance in hell of passing.
This is called being a realist, as I know that there is an overwhelming majority that supports the Pro-choice agenda.

Wow! That's some angry shit. In my opinion abortion is always tragic, and something that on a personal level i do not subscribe to. But no man can understand the dynamics of a woman's feelings with regard to such a dreadful choice. Thus, they should butt the fuck out. I can't imagine any sane woman wanting to have an abortion, i have comforted friends who have been through it and it's not pretty. You do not have the low down on existence as far as i can see, and i don't quite know why you have to be quite so vitriolic given that according to your beliefs i will be roasting in hell for eternity pretty shortly. One advantage i do have by not being locked into a prefabricated belief system is the chance to learn. When you know something for sure, what's left to learn? I think if most christians really believed what they espoused then maybe this poor tired place would be in be in much better shape after 2000 years of it.

He's an angry, sad little man.

Why should men butt the fuck out again? Its their child as well, its not solely the womens.

I don't know that you are going to hell or not, I don't even know you nor can anyone judge you save for the creator. I just don't like you pinning pro-lifers as religious driven because it seems like you are so anti-religion that everything they are for or against you are the opposite. Could be wrong but that is how you are portraying yourself.

As for you Dank.

Anytime you want to grow the balls and debate with me, let me know. Till then keeping making these medicineman like snide comments if it helps you sleep at night. You are a coward and a fool at that, how wrong you are on every single political issue its astounding. Every bit of information you source from is biased and one sided, thus you are mimicking the very stereotypical liberal to the fullest. Pathetic.

I for one don't believe in your god.

I also think since the men generally butt the fuck out (as you so eloquently put it) once the child is older, or if the child is born with a disability, or if a younger women turns their head.

Like it's been said before, if the man can't seem to control where he leaves his semen, then that's his fault. Once you deposit those little swimmers they cease to become yours.

If you don't want any of the children you create aborted then I suggest you be a little more choosy about your sperm dumping ground.

You can't run around sewing your wild oats and then pitch a bitch when the field owner refuses to bring in the crop.

It's not quite the same degree of burden for men. My dad got my mom knocked up, I was born, then 5 years later he divorced her. Myself and 2 of my siblings went with my mom. My dad never paid a dime of child support. If we'd died, I doubt he would have cared. (And to be fair, because of that, when he died, I didn't even know until 7 years later.) He actually declared us as dependents for several years, for the tax break, while we were with my mom and he wasn't paying any child support at all. He was pissed when I sicked the IRS on him some years later.

It's very, very easy for a man to 'stick it' to a woman, figuratively after literally. And then what? Where'd that shared responsibility go? Oh, sure, sometimes they go after the man and garnish his wages or whatever, but often, there's no punishment and when there is, it's minor.

If ever abortion is recriminalized, I would want the onus put much more on the man in the ways that don't relate to the physical burdens, where obviously the women has to carry the weight. For instance, if a man and a woman have a child, the man is held accountable for his full share of the expenses. Miss a child support payment, even one, five years in prison. Miss two, ten years. Miss three, you don't get out again. Fatherhood is serious business, but so many treat it frivolously, and the child and often the mother pay the price for that. Well, make the punishment for avoiding the responsibilities of fatherhood very severe and people will have great incentive to take it as seriously as it should be taken. No more 'dick her and kick her' mentality. Also, the man pays more than half the cost, to compensate for the fact that women are paid less for doing the same job with the same experience. If ever that changes, then the man's share should be reduced to match the new more-fair statistics, of course.

This would accomplish several things: 1) men would take a lot better care of their sperm spigot, because the consequences of being irresponsible will fall as much on them as on the woman; 2) the children won't get screwed by deadbeat dads; 3) the woman will know the man is going to be there financially until the child is an adult (or else) so she won't be so scared of being forced to handle the burden completely alone. Oh, and 4) the irresponsible fathers will spend a great deal of time being assfucked by gangbangers as a motivational and educational lesson. Responsible fathers would have nothing to worry about, of course.

I'd prefer for women to maintain the freedom they already have. But freedoms of all kinds are under assault these days. If my back is against the wall though, I would at least demand these small changes, as a compromise. But again, I can't really imagine voting to revoke that freedom from women. I'm too much of a pro-freedom kinda guy.

thanks.

Okay, the men choose where to let the spermies fly, but the women also choose their mate as well? They are both 50/50 on this.

Like I said before, you don't want your kids aborted, then keep your spoog in your fist where it belongs.

You act like no woman has ever gotten pregnant while using a birthcontrol method.
They just want to steal your sperm and abort your kids as a hobby.

I'm sure a lot of women wrestle with this issue before making the choice. There can be a whole lot of reasons they make the choice.

Keep in mind that a woman that is pregnant with a child she doesn't want isn't going to take good care of herself during pregnancy either. Making abortion illegal would significantly raise the number of birth defects for that simple fact.

So who wants to pay for all these retarded children born to drug addicts, or alcoholics, or women whose husbands beat them through the whole pregnancy? Lets not forget the women that don't want to be pregnant that start taking lot of different drugs just trying to bring on a miscarriage at home. I foresee a hell of a lot of fucked up babies from this if it it ever happens.

I raised my kids also dank, and if my daughter got pregnant...it would be her choice, it's not my place to tell her what to do with her body.

Thats ridiculous, so who's baby is it then may I ask?
Its both of the parents. I don't like this "its my body I do with it what I want" because its not completely your baby. You just didn't will one into existence. Don't cut the dude completely out of it because due to our reproduction physics the woman carries it.
