drop your hydroplex down to 3/4ml per gallon and double the silica to 5mls per gallon

this will hopefully eliminate or reduce the need for the ph up

it reduces your total ppm
it reduces your high p which might be why you've got yellowing on the new growth.. high P can lock out iron and zinc

and it lowers the K and make calcium and magnesium more available

the extra silica will be a very good thing
more resilient to pests

these are two options
both eliminate the use of hydroplex and silica blast and replace with dry salts, mono potassium phosphate MPK, and potassium silicate

the first has the lower K during veg that I mentioned

the second has the high K to match your current formula..and because this one has more silica itll bring your ph up more

personally... my EC pen would only read 1.2 or 1.3 at 420ppm active element which is exactly where I veg

and flower I do just under 400ppm active element

im not sure why yours would say 1.8unless you got high EC from the tap

It's hydroguard not Hydroplex. It's just for root growth. Got it for free when the bontanicare rep was at the hydro shop. Can say no to try some free shit

the first one is what your feeding.. no way that 1.8EC... more like 1.0 ... but then that don't add in your micros and sulfur

the second you can see has 10ml per gallon of silica
I would use the silica to raise your ph not the ph up

Using that much silica blast won't effect anything? And I was thinking the same thinking. Like how is my ec so damn high. It didn't make sense to me went to calibrate my blue labs conductivity pen and it won't even calibrate in the 2.77ec solution. Time to send it in... it reads 1.4ec in the solution. But I would assume that means it was reading even lower then what my feed is and it was reading 1.8.

no... silica is like gold

im jealous that my ph isn't as low as yours

I spray 1x per week
combine
1.25grams potassium silicate per gallon
1oz azamax per gallon

this control powdery mildew and bugs

that yields 175ppm si

of course you wouldn't put that in your soil because the k would lock everything else out

but you can have as much as 100ppm si in your nutes and its only all the better,,provided you can do it and still keep your K in range

but over all your current formula looks great for veg

you want to do flower next?
I have 3 mom's running right now. LSD, heavy duty fruity, and cookies and cream. The lsd i got from a friend in late veg and cookies and cream I got middle veg. The heavy duty fruity I got as a small clone and im LST her. I took clones from my LSD last night. Going to run a SOG with them while I wait for the C&C and HDF get bigger. I'm running the moms in a 2×4 and going to veg and flowering in a 4×8
