I transplanted these guys 2 weeks ago, very little growth. In ready to give up all together. This is becoming a waste of time and money at this point. I switched to dyna gro after all the good things I've read, but I'm having nothing but issues

600w mh
1 gal pot with ss adv #4 soilless peat
Dyna gro fp + protekt
Ph to about 5.9ish
I Ph after I fill a 5gal bucket and it's usually enough water for the week
.5 mL per gal of FP
.25 per gal of protest

Too much? They look a little burnt

how much of the dynagro are you giving and how often are you giving it? looks like too much or too often. you don't really need to pH down.
Good every watering per the soilless. Its pretty much inert. I'm going to flush a bit and lighten it up and see what happens

based on the size of the plants this is more of a balance nute profile using what you have and adding Epsom and calmag

but youll need to add 50mls or more of phosphoric acid ph down to get your P up another 20ppm
so that's a little less than 2mls per gallon of ph down which shouldn't be hard with that much silica

having said that..its not the best option since that high if silica might give you ph stability issues

bottom line..i don't think its enough food and what your using isn't well balanced

id look at adding another nutrient..to get some P and K and reduce the silica some

where did that chart come from?
someone made this on excel forever ago like over ten years ago
I forget who to give credit to
but you can enter the info for any store bought nute formula and see whats what

I got this revised version from somewhere on this web site (not sure if its still there)
http://www.customhydronutrients.com/dry-inorganic-fertilizer-salts-c-1.html

this is where I get my fertilizers
im betting if you place an order he would send you a down load by email

here is what im currently mixing
the cost is pennies on the dollar

there are many ways to formulate and taylor specific to your personal water source and ph

you can add dry salts directly to the res or you can build your own concentrate

it basically does the math conversion for you to convert you % rates to actually elemental ppm

You're using one of the best plant foods on the market, hands down. But you're not feeding them enough at this stage. Try 4mls/gal of FP and water with about 6 ounces of water as needed. The tops will green up beautifully in a matter of days and once the plants are established you can cut back the dosage when you start to water with more volume.

Are you sure about that? My last plants that were small I did about 3mL per gallon and watered about half a gallon per pot, and completely nuked them. they were so dmg they had to be binned. So to clarify, your saying up the amount of nutrients, and give them less water, but more concentrated?

I would feel safer with 3mls for now

those plants have been starving
feed them too much to fast might make there tummy hurt

I.m.o. Cut back on water/ food frequency.. The edges of the leave look like over watering. A lot of dried salts on them trays as well..
Oh yeah.. Forgot.. Peat holds a lot of moisture which is bad... Don't be suprised if you attract fungus gnats.

Yes. You're underfeeding them right now.
