I was just saying because I read you were flushing your plants and the yucca helps rince out salt and doesn't allow media to get hydrophobic which binds salts easier
Calcium also helps. That's why calmag usually has nitrogen it in as it needs something to attach to.

when using jacks ,you are always supposed to add the jacks before the calcium nitrate.maybe some of your problems are due to adding the calmag first?when i was using ro water with jacks, mixing jacks to .75 to .80 ec then adding calcium nitrate to 1.20 ec,my ph would come in at 5.4 to 5.6 every time.for the money i love the jacks hydro mix 5/12/26

Ohhh, very good. I'll look for my Yucca. Actually I don't have that. I have Humus soil Amendment to use w/ Bountea Organic Tee. The Fungal Activator is to be used week 4-6 & the Bioactivator once a week. They brew w/ the Humus but I've never done it. I want to start using the teas & organic stuff more though.
Yucca allows Foliar to seep into the leaves to right?

I agree with you but the its the nitrogen that's help fix to much calcium with ,potassium etc lock each other other. Magnesium and iron bind together they have parmagnetic responses with one another Yes calcium will help loosen soil to relieve bind minerals and salts but not using calmag. If you took gypsum and applied to soil you have to wait fir the soil to break down then maybe a yr later soil will be easier to uptake water etc.

You mean to tell me my local municipality is pumping my water straight from china when the river with the pump tower is just 5 miles from here? :P
RO is causing more people problems than it is helping imho

I have been using RO for cooking, and drinking for decades, and mixing nutes for 5+ years. Like owning a car, it requires filter changes. And like LED power virtually all RO specs are best case scenario, rather than real world results. If you have a grow the size of SM, you need to invest in a big ass system

I have this only because I did not see the 100gpd. Due to storage tank size it can only supply ~ 2.5 gallons before it drains down. It would come closer to meeting 75 gpd IF I had a large storage tank, BUT, since mine is dual purpose, the normal tank fits under the kitchen sink cabinet

You need to invest in something like this

Yah it a natural wetting agent can spray leaves for Foliar as for the bountea organic tea have you been giving them brewed tea and if you are what are you brewing with your pump need to a commercial around 800 gph to 1000 gph for 5 gallon bucket and don't ph the tea you will kill any living microbes and fungi with ph up or down. Just brew the tea and water it in i would make sure the pot aren't dry better if little moist.

Nice healthy girls. It's all good, show us what you're working w/. Don't have to be Amare. This thread is non-biased as much as some may think I am, I am deffinetly not.
I've grown w/ so many different light sources it's crazy. Also, I like & believe others work great, it's just that when some people here on RIU tried to put down Amare saying tons of stuff that wasn't true, I stepped in & told the truth. I dont care what anyone uses as long as their happy.
What are you flowering w/ ?
That's BlueDream? Looks allot better then the pheno I had. Mine was a small yielder & slow plant. But it produced bomb bud.
Ah I don't really wanna bother posting anything but Amare... You are corect my friend, all light work great and I have more then enough and to be honest the last thing I need is more light but idk man, we all have our "problems". I love Amare leds, I mean it's not because Amare... I wanted so much to buy a Budmaster... but since I found about Amare I just want the pro9 for flower, I do not need more than that and maybe add another SE like this for veg. I love the hype :))) and Victor is a pleasent guy. I think I busted his balls with so many emails. It's his fault anyway, he's so darn friendly lol.

Water tastes like shit and after I wash the sink witch is black all that black becomes white from calcar or w/e.
I use soil and Advance Nutrients... tried to use BioBiz but they just dont grow... now AN is ok but I just can't get it right... The plants react best when feeded at 4ml like AN web says but in mid flower I always get yellowing ... no clue why... being from EU idk what would beat AN...
I'd like something where I can controll the ph and ppm, maybe that will put me in top of things.
advanced nutes can be a pain in the ass,and the yellowing in flower is due to a lack of nitrogen and following their charts too closely lol.if you want to try something easy and very ph stable try this http://hydrodynamicsintl.com/ionic-grow-for-soil.html
i use it in promix, coco, and hydro and it works very well.been using ro water for a good 6 years, might use calmag once a month on a picky strain like nute hog og's. if your feeds are strong enough calmag is not needed.i have a gallon of calmag that has to be 2= years old by now and i run through about 30 gallons of water per day lol. but the ionic is easy 3 parts, grow for veg, bloom and boost for flower.i like to run all my plants on grow nutes for first 15 to 20 days of flower untill they are done stretching, then switch to bloom nutes.the plants dont fall on their face and turn yellow doing this.that works with any nute and i also use alot of jacks classics and do the same thing. but i ran a/n nutes for a good 2 years, never could get my plants to look as good as they did with any other product.even pure blend pro worked better lol.ionic also makes a hard water formula that will help with dirty water, they just use much less micros in those mixes.let me know if you have any more questions, peace

Thanks buddy! This I can find local. What else you use besides grow in vege? And in flower any other aditives?

i use the fossilfuel about once a week all through veg and flower @ 7ml per gal.i feed every day so this would be like 1 time per 7 waterings http://hydrodynamicsintl.com/europonic-fossil-fuel.html

i also use the fossilfuel with a touch of grow(like 2 ml per gal) as a foliar spray about 2 times in veg and one more time around day 7 of flower, just before the flowers start to develope.thats about it man,you can pretty much run the whole cycle with just grow, bloom, boost, and ff. with ro water these nutes will mix out at around 6.4ph for the grow formula and about 6.2ph for the bloom depending on how much boost you use.the boost can be used as a ph up product to a point.so can the fossilfuel.bloom alone will make ro water mix out at around 6.0ph,but all those numbers work great in soil and peat based soilless mixes.i use promix so its perfect for me.

I will be searching for a grow of yours, I think I saw it on led section? Your profile is private.... I don't use vege nutrients now... I only had Bloom from AN and I bought that BioBizz crap so I use bloom for vege. I will switch to flower this weekend anyways so this run AN nuts will be finished. I use Compo Sana for soil and add some perlite but only on plants past 2 weeks, it's too hot to start em on it.
Oh well ... I will try this Ionic on my next run and see. Maybe by that time I will have a RO system (not only for my plants, but to drink and make food)...

Are you using a "remineralization filter". It is know that RO will strip your body of minerals if consumed in large quantities.

DeCalcifies your penial gland. But you're right, I've been drinking & my girls been cooking w/ it since I got the RO machine. Going to be getting back on Vitamins & working out again soon. Didn't know it could strip vitamins & minerals from your body but makes sense.
Started adding Microbe Life brand Nutes to my feeds once a week to make up for lost minerals in the water.
These plants are far from healthy though. Just hoping for the best I can this run.

For me, my tap is bad for my ebb and gro because it raises the pH a full point ever couple hours no matter how much pH down I pour into the res. The tap water is fine (110ppm) but its just so alkylid because I live in a high limestone area.

So much disinformation to sift through: were you to only drink a gallon a day and not take any minerals from food, you could strip minerals from your body

However, we need better and more minerals than we get from food. I use this for drinking water www.pythagoras432.com
