you know if cops really wanted to find them, they could, the gov DOES monitor the internet and an IP address is pretty much coordinates on a map to your city, and even your house. so they can lurk all they want, once they visit the site they're boned if the cops wanna find them so they might as well register.

It's small things like that that put the paranoid inside at ease.

Besides which the information and community far outweighs any imagined risk.

Awesome, but if a court really wanted to bust us they'd subpena the site to let them in, but since that hasn't happened we are all quite safe.

I hardly think they are concerned with the small grower, growing for personal use, when they have crack dealers on the corners.

you're actually right, unless they stumble onto it or it's a huge grow op, the cops don't care much, they wanna go after the harder drugs.

I sorta already think that the cops in my area are aware that i'm growing but i'm doing it on such a small scale, through lack of space, that it is not worth the money it would cost to arrange a raid. Especially as there are the Vietnamese,nearby, growing on an industrial scale, i'm talking 5 room houses filled to the brim with lush vegetation.
That and the crack/prostitution problem locally as well.
There are some pros to living in crime riddled areas =)

They are usually looking for 5 plants or more. A friend of mine knows someone that had the cops called on them. He had a plant growing in his closet that was all kinds of beat up. Someone living there called the cops to get him in trouble. The cops came and said that they weren't going to arrest him, they said all they would do is just remove the plant. I guess it's too much trouble for small time ops.
