it gets too cold here so I cannot have my intake blowing such cold air into the tent without the light being on, I have read you can turn everything but oscillating fans off, I have also heard different. I do have a dehuey to throw in I just can't have such cold air being blown in. Thanks!

I have my fans set on timers, im in the same situation, i have my exhaust fan set to kick in 15mins at a time every hout n a half- 2 hours.. because it would get to cold with lights off.. usually just leave the oscillating fan on pointing up right between the canooy sn lights.. you could set bothh fans on a timelr also so it ?*

Having a fan blowing on the plant with no intake/exhaust during lights out will work

my intake stays running but circulation goes off with the lights. Heater, humidifier and dehumidifier are all needed if your going to dial in the perfect atmosphere. Some strains can take swings like a champ and others can not.

If you run a carbon filter, and if odor is a concern for you, you will have some serious stank to deal with if you cut your intake/extraction fans off.

Right in thanks for the replies! I ended up setting my intake/exhaust to go off with light, oscillating fan remains on keeping the air moving, dehumidifier keeping it between 40-45% humidity. Seems to be working nicely. Smell isn't neccisarily an issue since I live in a legal recreational state we can grow 4 plants and that's all I got. Having cool neighbors helps too. But I'm thinking I need to keep my exhaust on low since night time temps are about where day temps are because I need to run a heater. My solution is just buying a timer for the heater since it doesn't have a thermostat and having it come on every 30 mins or so, thoughts? Cheers!

Buy a thermostat for that heater and a variac speed controller for your exhaustt.
I am in a very cold climate also. My exhaust/intake is only on sparingly during veg, and runs at less than 1/2 power when lights are on during flower...but yes, I have a couple room only fans that run regardless...my oscillator when lights are on and a box fan underneath canopy on low on most all the time.

I take that back it actually seems to be pretty good on the lights out temps. Looks like it hovered around 64-65. Day temps are usually 74-76 going to see how consistent these temps will be, this was the first night with lights out so we'll see!

If ur in flower you want the extractor running all the time or the smell will leak out!!!! Just put a timer on the in take and use an oil filled radiator if ur growing in a tent lift open on of thr flaps and pull in the ambient air from the room (as long as it is 18c etc) or you will need to heat this space
