2 1/2 weeks in the tent. Random thoughts.

After a bit of a learning curve with pH, nutes, and lighting, I think things are going OK now. The 2 strains in front are bubblegum, back left is sour diesel, and back right is AK47. From an age perspective, the left BG is the oldest by 2 weeks, following by one week is the sour diesel and AK, and the right BG is the youngest.
Something must have stunted the AK as it just put roots in the water today. I've been slowly lowering the light (600W MH 10000K) to where it is now; about 18 inches above the canopy.
This weekend I plan on topping the big bubblegum.

Looks great. that is what my setup is going to look like. just popped the seeds on saturday, are you having any problems in keeping your buckets of water temperature under control?

Temperature is one of the problems that I had. My basement gets into the forties when it gets really cold outside. I needed to use aquarium heaters get the temp up. It cycles between 66 and 69F.

dont i wish. my problem is going to be too hot (maybe), wont know until i am up and running. i will have 2 600w HID lights in a 5x5 tent . cooling is more difficult to deal with i think on 8 individual buckets.

I was surprised that my vented pendent didn't really contribute any heat to the space. With a 175CFM fan, the exterior of the pendent only made it to upper 60sF. I had to poke a hole in the venting after the light to get some heat into the tent.

In what? That res solution gets above 70 and you'll learn what root rot is real fast!

Keep DWC pots below 69F.......the air should be 70 or a little above.
