doesn't seem to matter what strain I grow

with colas that fat and humidity at 60% even for 3 days in late flower and im on the look out

if I could keep it down to 45% all the time that woud be nice

but the dehumidifier adds to much heat and eats electricity

I certainly don't run that dry. I'm usually in the 55-65% RH range.

I use a water cooler to serve water cooled air handlers in the room, these constantly produce condensate and thus control RH.

This pure condensate is used on the plants, I just mix my dry nutes in it.

few years back I ran a/c (mini split)

had no problems no mold ever

but the a/c eventually quit and it would push my electric bill up so I went back to venting

if power consumption was of no concern I would use an a/c

luckily up to now I haven't had a crop failure and im not losing that much

id have to find something I could spray that would have a lasting effect over a few weeks
maybe spray 3weeks into bloom and if it continued to provide coverage for 3 or 4 weeks it would work but those that provide long coverage are toxic...as far as I know thus far

Use the rejected heat to warm your home in winter, this recycled heat is a free bonus. I did it with chiller units for years.

one things for sure I shouldnt mess around with spraying them unless its silica and aza

no more mkp or amino sprays

although the dna stuff hasn't yet shown any issues but there taller so the buds have more space

the mandala grow guide says the satori does well in arid climates so It might not be the best for humidity

Sativa dominant strains tend to do better in damp conditions.

I have some limits to what I can do it my current set up

maybe when I move
I'm fortunate to be in my own home and able to experiment. I've bought several styles of chillers and other units and tried lots of configurations over the years.

That sealed room does work well. As well sealed as it is, it still uses a full 20lb of CO2 every 4-5 days. Since I'm pretty sure it's not leaking much out of the room, I think that's indicative of a high level of metabolism in the space.

are you using a digital co2 monitor?

I got the IGS monitor

had it for almost ten years and still works perfect

so I would have posted a few more pics if the sited wasn't having trouble

the querkles all showed brilliant purples in the last 2 week and its some of the frostiest solid rock yard nugs ive seen
it smells so sweet its almost like you can taste sugar in your mouth when you smell her
easy to trim
the only downside is theyre not great yielder....

the sour Kush from reserve prevada had several great yielding keepers from a pack of 6 I would be happy with any of 3 for a mom

the og18 had a few dogs.. I started with 12 fems... it smells amazing and theres maybe 2 good phenos out of 12

the lemon kush gave me 3 good keepers out of 5 but only one with hard nugs

the satori f2 looked as if I only had 2 main pheno types thru most of flower but at the very end the diversity came out and I ended up with several different traits... out of 16 satorif2 I had as many as 12 potential keeper moms

so I have a few things going on

I pollinated the sour D with the qurekle male by rubbing the two plants together and I got good seed

(first time)
I then took a tsp of collected pollen and added cut it with 1tbs sterilized flour
a few weeks later I floured the other strains with the flour/pollen blend... well unfortunately it didn't work! no signs of seed from the flour mix

another issue
for some reason the sour D yielded extremely bad this time and im not sure why... im thinking the mother/donor might have had disease from humidity mold issues

its difficult to keep mother plants healthy for 6months in rockwool recirculating in with such small root area

ive switched the new donor stock/clones over to soil in hopes that itll be easier to keep the donors healthy for exteneded periods

I have limited soil experience so its a bit of a risk for me

I combined 50/50 FFOF/happy frog in 6" pots to start
