Yeah well...I love the song and I grew up with it and saw Fleetwood Mac in concert with my girlfriend -heard Stevie sing it. Maybe it's from an era prior to the whole Pandora concept of listening to music? I don't know, but I don't understand "hating" music. The whole Roman Colosseum "thumbs down" judgement thing, too....I don't get it.....ah well...

i like fleetwood mac.. just not landslide. it comes on the radio all the time, then it comes on pandora too much. i constantly have music going, when im working or just at home. when you hear a song a few times a day for years it gets old. its like stairway to heaven. thats an awesome song, but do i leave it on the radio when it plays.. nope.. or sweet home alabama.. or just about every popular beatles song. doesnt mean its a terrible song. just means i wore it out. itd be like watching the same movie every single day. eventually youll want to kick your tv across the room

Oh yeah, I get it...I used to have to listen to the same Country & Western music everyday for years and you could almost tell what time it was from the tune that was playing because they just played everything on the same rotation everyday. But, on the other hand, if a song stirs up a memory of a time that was important or meaningful, then I can deal with it no matter how popular it is/was. Sometimes, I like a song for what it does to my feeling of nostalgia. The Beatles are another band that made a lot of those kinds of tunes for me...It's not just the tune...It's the memory of the rainy day when I heard it...It's the memory of the swimming pool or working on my car....etc.

There was a song that was popular when I was a kid....the lyrics were something like "My name is Michael...I've got a nickel..." I still want to smash something when I hear it. ;)
