I'm lucky they look as good as they do. HOPEFULLY I caught it in time, the tops all look really healthy but I freaked out because some of the stems are even looking yellowish.

after 10 years of buying PH pens and throwing them away

I use the $5 ph dropper kit

as for EC pens I don't mind buying a good digital EC pen because they last a long time... but the ph pens go bad to frequently

My ph in the 5 gallon tubs i let it breath in fluctuates for 48hrs finally I'm able to get it to bout 6.3 after hitting it with ph down about 10 times.. testing every time.. I'd go strip crazy lol. but it changes if i don't do it that way with my nutes that i use

are you adding silica to your mix?

silica can cause some funny buffering issues that takes some time to work out
