I finished my first grow a while ago and just shoved the pots with the rootball in the corner to dry.
The product turned out great and the people I'm doing this for are pretty damn happy with it. I even managed to meet and exceed the seedbanks yield forecast. But there's always room to improve, I think.
So, once I dumped those pots and broke up the contents, I noticed that there was very little root growth, after I had transplanted to bigger pots. It was right strange to me. A bigger'ish root ball about the size of the 1 gallon pots and then just thin little roots throughout the dirt in the additional dirt of the bigger pot but nothing I'd call "growth".
The plants looked healthy tho.
