His guys ,
I'm on my first coco/perlite grow and I'm 14days from seed, I'm growing 2x white widow from greenhouse and 2x sour d from a local seed bank.
I've been giving them 500ml of water each every day for the past 7days with a light nutrient feed consisting of...
Rizotonic -- 2ml per litre
Formula -- 2ml per litre
Seaweed tonic -- 2ml per litre ' for a EC of 0.5 and ph down to 5.5 ' then raised it slowly over the week to ph 5.8.
Runoff EC is 0.5 & ph rises to 6.0.

I did give them a seaweed feed alone yesterday that was 5ml per litre EC 0.7 ph down to 5.8/5.9 but I have noticed some droop on all 4 plants
Here is a few pictures at 14 days from first going in the paper towels so it's 12 days growth...1489329685418-1442209338.jpg 14893298116572011844864.jpgI've got the sat in a 2x2 tent with a flood tray and a small pump for the extraction of water so I don't have to move the plants to remove runoff. Works well I'm happy.

Any suggestions would be great.

White widow doesn't mind a wetter soil. The indicas like it dryer. When you mix two strains in the same grow, you might have to stagger the watering.

Notice how the sour has leaves almost touching the soil. The white widow is more springy. It's leaves won't droop with same amount of water given to the sour.

The indica likes a dryer substrate. The sativa dominant does fine in a wetter soil.

You never just water coco and you never let it get dry. I start feeding 1/4 strength nutes from day one, by the start of the 2nd week I feed daily. The pic is at 14 days old in coco/perlite.

Allowing the containers to dry out inspires better root growth, and gets more oxygen to the root zone.

It's got to be when I just gave them the seaweed tonic instead of any nutrients.
I'm starting gh flora serie's tonight at lights on and see how that go with a 1/4 strength mix. It does state on the back of the bottles that 2.5 ml per 10 litres of wateer so I will go with 1/2 ml micro, grow, bloom with seaweed tonic 5mls & green fuse grow 2.5ml. Ph 5.8
I will see how that go, I'm using tap water with a EC of 0.5 so I haven't been using cal&mag just yet even though I'm using led' just don't see the point yet since my water has calcium and my nutrients have magnesium that should be enough?

Anyway I think continuing to water until u get 20% runoff everyday is what I will continue to do.

I do, when the container feels light, and dry down a few inches, I water.
Pretty simple
Good if that works for you. One of the properties of coco is that it still holds 30% oxygen even when saturated, even more if it is amended with perlite. Daily feedings replenishes the root zone with nutes and pulls in fresh oxygen for the roots. Just my opinion.

Maybe having them in airpots make a difference. I am in a standard pot and probably evaporate far less water than you in the course of a day.
