New Beginnings for Massachussetts and I

If the space is light sealed, you could just switch to 12/12 and flower all of them but it is probably too late for sensimelia. If it spread through the ventilation system, it could pollinate your plants all year. I wouldn't put any of them near my girls.
I would imagine that if the plants are still a few weeks from flower, giving them a thorough misting before introducing them to a veg tent should eliminate any residual pollen.

Ya gotta love the breeders' descriptions of things. I just looked up Dinafem Strawberry Amnesia since I have a freeby in the 'fridge " ... incredible medical marijuana that can aid symptoms of anorexia and depression." Seriously? You're saying that because it calms you down, makes you happy, and makes you hungry it's medical MJ? I guess all those border bricks from the '60s were really medicine. Who knew !!!
I guess writing product literature like this is what Kellyanne Conway was doing before she started explaining DJT's alternative universe.
How about "boosts your appetite and helps reduce weight gain", or "relaxed bursts of energy". ;)

Political nonsense aside, if it weren't for the medical aspects how many of us would be posting in this thread today? I get a good chuckle reading some descriptions, but the medical descriptions are better for mainstream acceptance than "This shit gets you fuckin blazed yo!"

I agree ... but these sorts of optimistic overreaches detract from the legitimate medical strains IMO.

The FDA has been known to slam claims of medical benefit when there is no data to back it up. This may seem like wild west marketing, but the laws controlling what you can claim about medical benefits aren't toothless. As advertising goes mainstream, I suspect a lot of red tape will go with it.

It's probably just a matter of time before they start rattling cages and these claims will fall away.

MMJ may have opened doors to acceptance, but legally it is one of the riskiest paths to profit. Once it is declared medicine, a lot of laws will kick in. You can't just open a compounding lab and sell prescription medicine to the public. You can't put snake oil in a bottle and claim it will cure cancer.

They got al capone on tax evasion. They have a lot of arrows in their quiver.

What constitutes a "legitimate medical strain"? And who makes that decision? As far as I'm aware, if you get a MMJ card, you're not told which strain to use. THC and CBD both have their places. From what I've seen, it seems that most who choose low THC strains are people who don't want or like the "high" but still want the relief. Relief being the key word as that's all it's claimed to be.

Just using the term "legitimate medical strain" is detrimental imo. There's already been talk of restricting THC levels because "this isn't the pot from the 60's" and "anti's" comparing concentrates to meth and crack. Too many people assume that one hit from a dab is worse for you than smoking a fat joint for the same effect.

For these reasons and the FDA mention above, I kind of hope it remains illegal on a federal level. Once they're involved in anything more than taxation, we're screwed.

I don't. Too many people are still going to jail for a harmless plant that benefits so many.

QUESTION: Do you have to put your plant in darkness before harvest? I have an autoflower, and will be adding another one soon. I cant do darkness in my tent because of the second lady that will soon be in there.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the 10 oz limit applies to home grows. I forget the exact wording, but basically you can possess what you grow as long as you stay within plant limits.

The limit is 10 oz. dry, which Senator Lewis is trying to cut to 2. Which, if based on the 4 plants i grew, would have put me at 36 oz. with 12 plants.LOL

Uhhm, no it isn't. This is the text of the mgl covering it.

The word "dry" does not appear in the bill in any meaningful context. Neither does the word "flower". The only part of the plant exempt from weight is stalk. Everything else counts, wet ot dry.

And yes, lewis is an ass. That is a kill bill.
