Hello,


My first post here so I hope I am in the right place to open a new thread.

I wish I could get my hands on those cree or bridgelux diy kits. Unfortunately they will not send these units to my country where I can go and purcase them neither. I have found a good deal for this light. Has anybody got any experience or knowledge about it? I know it is not a decent unit but will it work for a hobbyist and are these
better than those smd double watts and should I choose these instead of my 300 watt cfl? I plan to use it in flowering for 2 to 4 plants in a 100x100x180 tent. Thank you for your help.

Its only a 210W LED.
Get a proper LED like Cree, There shouldnt be any reason they wont send to your country if some ones willing to send that LED you listed.

Cant be that bad. I usually have to pay $40-60USD to get stuff shipped to where I live off ebay.
Just try and combine shipping on as much as I can. My last LED order was $180 worth of cobs, $120 of drivers and $60 of shipping to get 250W.
Completely out does the rubbish 900W Chinese blurple LED I got years ago.

Because Cree gives you a warranty and garuntees the quality of their products. Where as the cheapo chinese brands can't always give you quality. And like to make absurd claims about the performance of their products.

You want a minimum of 30 watt per square foot. To about 50w per square foot.

More light will mean more bud- within reason.

Don't worry. I was a total noob till I joined here about September last year. So many informations!

We'll make your thumbs greener than troll bogeys in no time.

Hello, i already have a setup with 6X23w cfl +1 200w 8u cfl, and i wanted to add some more light to the grow..i was thinking about a normal led from 300 to 600w what u guys advice?
But still dont know which type of led should i take, is the COB the best thing i can get, or those one with 3w chips?

Check out rapidled They have free worldwide shipping for CREE CXB3590 (I´m in South America, where it is not easy or cheap to ship stuff) and the best price I could find for those cobs.
