Here is a great deal for all COB users, for a limited time we are selling 4 packs of our Citizen CLU048-1212 COB lights. The sale price of the 4 pack is $600. RIU20 discount brings the price down to $480.
The CLU048 are as efficient as the 3070s, and they have the same drivers as the 200w model. The 3590s are more efficient but as you know they cost significantly more. The 3070s and clu048 are very efficient and people here on the forum claim COBs produce slightly better yields watt for watt compared to softer driven COBs. It seems most 3590 setups don't get pushed too hard and the COBs that balance total output and efficiency such as ours do as well or better in some cases than 3590s. Maybe there are other variables? Anyways thanks for considering this 4 pack and glad to hear you are still liking the 200W light from us.Thats a very tempting 4 pack deal. Swap them out for my t8s and t5 in veg. Add one for flower.... But i told myself no more leds unless their 3590s. But im quite happy with my 3070 200 watt fixture.
Could you explain how the clu048 compares to 3070? Is it an efficiency difference? Are you using similar efficiency drivers with the 200w 3070 and the citizen 100 watt fixtures?
Apologies for my ignorance

just let me know when there in,, i want to order asapThe CRI rating is how true the color is precived by the human eye with the sun being 100 as a reference. The lower CRI chips typically have higher lumen output and the higher CRI do seem to have a output that is shifted toward the red/far red.
I see you wish to wait for the 3000k, I will keep you updated on an ETA of restocking.
The COBs arrived a week ago so let me check when this lot is ready to ship. Will let you know ASAP.just let me know when there in,, i want to order asap

LED lights do not produce UV unless specifically designed to do so. I don't know of any UV LEDs for reptiles, the only ones I have come across in my research are more for industrial use and they are typically quite expansive. Have you considered T5 or compact fluorescent?just a question,, i have iguanas and they need a light that produces both uva and uvb,, wright now theyre under a 70 watt metal halide sais it produces optimal levals of uva n uvb for reptiles... do led light bulbs produce uva n uvb? any recomendations for an led that will be good for my iguanas??
ive use both the t5 reptile, the cfl w/ uva uvb, but they only throw limited amounts of benificial light to maybe a foot from bulb.. my enclosure is 5ft from top to bottom, 6ft wide and 3ft deep.. reptiles use heat from the light source and both t5 and cfl;s have little to no heat.. ive been reading about self ballested mercury vapor bulbs that put out both heat and benificial uv light..but ive opted for the 70 watt metal halides, they put out heat and uv and u dont need to replace the bulbs so often...LED lights do not produce UV unless specifically designed to do so. Start around 20-24" range will provide good veg coverage and healthy intensity.Hi GOGreenLEDs, Have started using your light on seedlings. 200w 4 cob version. Awesome light. How far away do you put the light from the seedlings on veg mode.
ok great, thanks. I had it at 17 - 18" away from the top of the seedling. Leaves were looking a little whiter than Im used too. Too much intensity?Start around 20-24" range will provide good veg coverage and healthy intensity.
