First thing that comes to my mind is getting a filter for a furnace a little bigger than the louvered opening. You can build a wood frame for the filter to sit in leave it open on one end so you can replace it.hey

ok here is what i am looking for a filter that can stop Mold and other things comming into a grow area
this is the vent type........does anyone know of something that is already made for this or is this a DIY with a lvl 7 air filter type of deal

Here in colorado we have the opposite problem the rh is 10%-15% you can dry buds in 2 days.@qballizhere
the ? is the humidty lvl .......at 944ft there are days that the RH is 94% and we are in a cloud bank so far the lowest i seen outside is 55% and that was for one day avg for the last weeks is 76% currently at 84%
i was hoping the that since green house are so pop that someone might have invented something to handle this aspect
u know anygood antimicrobal/fungi stuff i can coat screen in keep from growing

do u know anything i can treat the filter with ......the rh here is always high .......the volume of air that will move over them will be alot and at some point they will be moist enough to allow spores and other things i am trapping to grow and live on the filterLowe's sells a large rectangle of 3M reusable filter. It's blue. It's located by the other A.C. filters. You can cut it to shape. I'm using the same to filter my intake vents. Also does a good job of blocking the light from the LED inside and the room light. Outside the cabinet.
