My only complaint is that since the shoots seem closer to branches by the time there rooted.
Mind sharing your method? I just started doing it this way after reading someone using easter eggs filled with dirt cliped around shoots.
Think ill try peat moss an medical tape next time but id love to hear your way if you regularly clone this way.
just like the pic
1: take a boxcutter and remove bark 4 inches apart top and bottom, to the bone
2: smear with honey its better than clonex is antiseptic
3: I prefer kitchen foil, secure with wire twisters at the bottom
4: shape like a cup
4: pour damp original potting mix into foil cup
5: seal the top with wire twisters
6: stab with pen top and bottom
for water to go in and drain out
I prefer potting soil as then there is very little shock later,
often I forget to water only to return later 10 days?
to find my new roots have dried to dust ...bummer(my fault)
so now I leave notes all over to remind me to water
this works for all plants is my adapted recipe, foil is best so no light gets to the cambium
best to try this in weed, mid to late veg
good luck
