When should I transplant?? - Solo Cups to Pots

Hello,

It's week 3 and 1 day since they broke ground (St. Paddys Day)
I'm thinks of transplanting them tomorrow into 2 gallon containers for 3 weeks until final home of 15 gallons.

I've also been under 4 philips led 5000k light bulbs for seedling but have a nice 12 cob led array awaiting for when plants are ready.

My questions are:
1. Am I good to transplant yet?
2. When do I switch to more intense light
3. Is it better to transplant when soil is dry or wet as I watered Friday night.

Any other advice is appreciated.

Your cups are pretty full w dirt so i think thers room for roots. I would go another week. A lot of ppl will say transplantnow tho. I like to transplsnt when dry , i just find it less messy plus you can water them into the new pots
And you can switch to better light now just start em a lil bit further away for a week n monitor the canopy temp if you can

There isn't any temp problems with my light as they are super efficient and no heat.

Hmm the thing is I have time tomorrow (Sunday) otherwise its going to have to be Saturday afternoon next weekend.

A good rule of thumb is to transplant when the leaves reach the rim of whatever they're planted in

Then today is transplant day.
Soil should be a bit dry today so should be good.
Then I can water right after in the new soil!!

Even solo cups need drainage holes, eh?

Seedling roots grow about as fast as the biggest leaves. So if you look straight down at a plant you want to see the larger leaves growing past the rim of the cup/pot. Yours appear good to go. I would wait another week myself as the plants will get bushier if you delay the transplanting a bit.
