Changing light schedule??? Good or bad idea.

My grow room is lite up with a 1000w hid from 6pm til 6am. I've got 3 plants flowering. I've also got 3 plants flowering outside. How would I change the light schedule from 6am to 6pm. Would I keep them 24 hours in the dark then put in the grow room. ?

It's a great question, and perhaps there is a better answer than mine out there, but I think you have it right: if you have committed to doing this, then I would bring the outdoor plants inside as the sun sets, and put them in the dark immediately until the following evening, when you join them in with the other girls. Keep pests in mind...you don't want mites...or any pests, especially mites...
