that 20% tariff on softwood lumber coming from canada should really help out a lot.

for those wondering, softwood is wood from conifer trees: so pine, hemlock, redwood and the most common, douglas fir. douglas fir is the wood that is basically 90% of all new home construction. your walls, your roof, your floors, you name it.

guess trumpee didn't like trudeau stealing his daughter's affections.

another move that will only hurt the middle class and workers.

We don't need anymore houses anyway, the market is flooded.

They either need to raise wages or we stop spending.

Change must be driven from bottom up it's not going to come from top down.

The issue is we are most certainly dealing with a group that confuses religious freedom with religious doctrine..the US does not owe you the freedom of telling others how to live..therefore you have culture war..it's not enough the religious fanatic lives by 'the word'..in their minds everyone must live this way..after all they have to..so should you.

this is great news for the woodsmen of maine,canada has been dumping cheap govt sponsored lumber for years pretty much starving the loggers up here,they also do it with crappy frozen seafood .this is great news for all loggers an hopfully the fisher men r next

That is why the state of Maine spends millions annually to convince people that lobster caught on this side of the watery dotted line is high quality "Maine Lobster" while lobster caught two feet north are inferior dog-grade crustaceans. Meanwhile, Mass. has successfully eaten their lunch with a hundred million dollar campaign to get the Chinese to know all lobster as "Boston Lobster" rather than "Maine Lobster"

China is absolutely beside themselves with glee at the prospect of trading with a Canada AND a Mexico that has found themselves fed up with America's superiority complex and constant backhanded insults.

The Chumpster Fuhrer administration is driving us off a cliff with their foot flat on the gas.
