Quantum Boards Grow

Got the reflector set up this morning, went pretty quick with my design and mounting it with spring clamps.

The screen is 12" away from the wall covered with panda film and the QB's are 20" away from the screen.

Took readings at the screen and the entire canopy has between 500 to 600 umoles.

I'm thinking I should be close to the sweet spot, especially since any light going through the screen is reflected back off the wall.
This's design is amazing can't wait to read more!!

Added all the bells and whistles from odds and ends I had laying around to the 9 board light. Of course the most important add on is 730 nm phytochrome trigger that I never flower without. Then I added 630 nm red from a couple RW-150's I had gathering dust and last was a couple 24" T5 HO Powerveg bulbs for some UV. Post a pic tomorrow.

How do you find 17w/sqft is going? Will you crank them up or move them closer? Just wondering as im going to have a big learning curve doing a scrog in a space 2.5-3ft wide. With my lights so close

I designed the light to cover up to a 5x5 area. It has 547 watts of QB's and 112 watts of 630 nm red which is 659 watts total which is just over 26 watts a sq/ft for a 5x5, the plant is actually covering about 4.5' x 4.5'. I've had great success with just under 30 watts a sq/ft with cxa3070's on a scrog so I expect better results from this.

I can't find where I got the figures from now, sorry I was working it out on a space about 33sqft not 25. Glad to hear your setup is going well :) I'm sitting on the edge of my seat for this! Very inspiring clean setup.
