I suggest you try Potters Gold - Built here in our state....GOOD STUFF! Nice 30 day feeder - well balanced and a shit ton of living bio's. More diverse then FF soils.

Used it my first year. After the happy frog. First few times it was very blond and drained well but later bags were not quite the same.

And I got some of the symptoms ocean forest is blamed for.

If it was consistent and available near me still I would use it. But no one carries it near here anymore....

SAD! yeah it had a short period of inconsistency as they expanded to the other side of the Mississippi and increased production with new equipment, and inexperienced help.

Quite stable now...some minor improvements too. Great base, if you don't want to build your own.
