Bro, that's steel nobody is talking about steel here. You mark the heatsink and put it under the saw and pull down... how much easier could it get? You are left with a factory clean edge and it only took you 2 seconds to finish the cut. I cut hundreds of pieces of extruded aluminum every day, if there were an easier way to do it I would have figured it out by now.a band saw is what machine shops use to cut stock metal
for thinner material you just use a finer blade
