Ok so me and a friend were high as giraffe tail the other day, and we were talking about when he grew his first buds way back in highschool and the horrible mistakes etc etc etc. We'll eventually we were getting specific about his yields vs potential yields based on a certain condition. So here it is.
When he grew back then he screwed up alot but let's not dwell on that lol so he had three plants in miracle grow soil in one 5 gallon pot. He said inside he had them under a regular t-8 shop light with two daylight bulbs, four CFL 23 watt, and 1 CFL I think he said 32 watt. For all three plants. When they got to fifth node he tried to topped them and unintentionally preformed "fim" without knowing what it was as he was just a kid kinda playing around lol. Well after they began growths again after the fim he transplants two outdoors into his back yard where they died from a storm so no buds
but he kept his more established plant in the pot and grew it out till harvest he said he added some more of the big CFL during flowering and didn't give any nutes in flower etc now our debate was he said he transplanted the two out of the pot to give the biggest plant more room and light. And he feels if he would have in hindsight kept all three inside and harvested with all conditions the same that more then likely even with them all sharing the pothe would have gotten at least double his yields I however feel he probably would not have increased yield and if so by minimal amount....whatdya think? Please no big burns on his mistakes he knows now all his errors and is astounded at his stupidity
