I bent my male plant to slow nuts from growing?

hi all this male I bent , because I got my female budding around a week in not even I need a month of flowering from her before he chucks pollen.Is this a good route?see pic at my thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/need-lighting-suggestion-for-micro-grow-box.941191/page-2#post-13552106

That won't slow him down. The only way is to isolate him. Unless you increase the light, he'll mature at the rate as the female. The official magic happens around a week to a week and half after the switch to flower. In veg, males show sex but don't go all out pollinating.

He'll pollinate every female plants for literally miles. These things are wind pollinated. Once the male matures, its on. A single male can pollinate everything. He's a pollen factory and is good at it.

I got a very wonderful wonderful pheno no smell at all so far . I only got 2 hybrids a female and male . I got two photos too but are vegging under 24hrs. hybrids are budding in smaller pots breeding should be finished before they bud . I might have to keep that odorless pheno. if I get a odorless of northern lights im be so glad !

I've never used anything but fresh pollen. I have no experience with storing it. You might be able to take an early drop and use it when you want....Cut him down.

Collecting the first sacks that drops pollen. Cutting him down. Storing the pollen for a month.

Never heard of a wonderful "no smell" pheno. Pheno and photos aren't the opposite of each other. Maybe you meant auto, I don't know

let me clarify I got a male White KC im X with another automatic strain .but if my NL phenotype photoperiod type strain.Stays odorless im keeping it to pollinate two different odorless strains indoors no need for odor control .

I like the smell of weed. I wouldn't want to purchase an oz that didn't smell like nothing. I get you though, in that post I quoted, you confused the word photo with pheno.
