Lots of good Info on how to keep healthy soil on brown guys channel I think I'm gonna talk to womanfromthenorth about getting a decent pump sprayer cause I think it would make watering faster and easier. Only thing I don't like about them is you can't measure how much you are giving the plants.

If you go down this path the first change to your mindset has to be this: you no longer grow the plants they grow themselves. You are the groundskeeper of the soil. It takes a little time to adjust but once you do you will be a "free" gardener :)

I bit the bullet a while back and got the fancy red sprayer from build a soil wasn't cheap but built like a tank. Got tired of blowing through all the cheap plastic ones.

Hi guys! Womanfromthenorth here! I'm new to this whole posting thing so please pardon, I'm also very knew to this growing thing and I have some questions. And even though I'm sure this probably isn't the right place, I'll ask anyway. So I'm trying to determine sexes with preflowers, based on pictures I've seen online. As of right now I'm sure I have no idea what I'm doing because I only have 2 suspected males out of 22 plants. No way, right? Should definitely be closer to 50/50, or even worse since they've been stressed so hard already? Would like to weed em out asap, but I definitely want to be sure before I throw any out. Any advice, tips, thoughts, suggestions, and even criticisms would be greatly appreciated!!!

@Manfromthenorth You either have the best luck out there, or some slow to mature babies. Either way, Keep an eye on them don't want a little guy popping up to seed up your wonderful weed. You guys are an inspiration. I have been price checking sheds here locally and I wanna copy ya'll lol. I've got a shed, but it'd be nice to start with a blank slate and have a shed dedicated to only growing lol.

My advice is look at lots of pictures, learn as much as you can about what they look like and when in doubt, segregate suspected males and either cull them or let them be until you know for sure. Nobody wants to lose a female because they jumped the gun!

If you are in a rush you can always flip the lights to 12/12 until they show sex then take out the males and flip the lights back to veg schedule for however long you want to veg and while you transplant the girls etc..............

Womanfromthenorth says she appreciates all the replies and info you all are giving out. She is burnt out we have two little ones on top of every thing else that we do. She will be on some time to thank you guys her self I am sure of it.

If you guys aren't sure if it's a male/female I'm sure if you posted some pics here some people would help out. I'm a new grower so I like trying to guess sexes :bigjoint:
