Hi if I calculated that 4x600w hps needs 9600 btu ac to cool just them and let's say I got a ac rated at 8000 btu would it still help with the cooling like bring it down a few degrees because that is all I need as my room goes to 27oc at the min or slightly higher

Some cooling better than none. Using a dehumidifier in conjunction with an a.c. unit also makes a huge difference.

the 8000 btu ac i orderd has a dehumidifier too so along with the air cooler i have do you think this would take a couple degrees down
