how i made my setup for first time grower

I just use a 120v t5 grow light that cost 49 dollars at home depot includes mounting brackets and just constructed a simple wood frame so can adjust lighting distance as plants grow. I transplanted into coco loco medium cause just using the lights to veg to get them nice and sturdy before plant outside. so first 2 weeks will use 24/7 under lights then cut to 18/6 week before i take out. I use geo pots with a fan and alternate watering one day let a day to absorb then use grow big solution but water lightly ariund plant not directly on roots and so far they are looking better everyday just have one thats starting slow but seems to be improving ill post a pic right now is only day 4 since where transplanted.

Sounds like a good plan! Thats a nice light for your veg area. Wish i found something like that. I bought 2x 2' 2 bulb t8 fixtures w/ 6500k bulbs 68w for like 52 from home depot to use as side lighting. Ended up taking them down and now they just sit there. I veg with cfls and flower with led cobs. Ive seen that coco loco in stores next to happy frog and ocean forest. I picked up the ocean forest tho, but how do you like that soil?

my plants in the root cubes were all wilted once transplanted hour later they perked up and it retains water great great so for now only need to water every other day and the plants seem to love it was told to use aerated pots like geo pots lets roots breath better and helps make a good root ball so when transplant outside im doing it sandy soil but filling the holes with coco loco to give it a good medium to take too

the coco loco can use right from the bag dont have to bother with dehydrating or adding anything
