I've probably seen that video, I watched a bunch of his stuff when researching how to grow.
The only motto of his I like is: "Yield is based on light; quality on grower talent."

From what I've heard and read, he's not saying anything new at all. There are some members here who put him to shame as well, and most of them aren't pompous pricks trying to sell you shit you don't need.
