Indoor and outdoor perpetual harvests with seeds and clones

Today may have been Big Cinderellas last feeding. She swelled overnight last night, and I didn't expect it until Monday or Tuesday. I may give a very light feeding on Wednesday, it depends on her development between now and then, :)

thank you! I am going to not take pics for three or four days (or at least try not to), just so the difference is more noticeable in bud development. Really busy now... I got the drying room set up (really easy ;) ) I have central air and heat that releases air at 30-35% humidity, and 65 degree temps (which will warm up to about 70 degrees with 40-45% humidity before leaving the room) :). Now all I have to do is get it all scrubbed up nice and clean, :). I can shut the door to keep it completely dark in there because the AC will be blowing in fresh cold air through the vent, and then another vent will be sucking up air, with a window open at eye level about 6 feet away (so good air circulation, :D. I have come up with my flushing schedule for the Cinderella, and hopefully my perpetual harvest schedule as well. Though I have to be in the garden and looking at the plants to remember the order correctly, so I will write it down while I am out there tomorrow. I have been formulating a plan of attack for this perpetual harvest. Basically, the day before I start harvesting I am going to go pick off all of the sun leaves that are left in mid day, then start harvesting the next morning, starting from the tops of the plants, and work my way down. The largest of the leaf sets that stick out of the buds will be pulled out strait from where the petiole meets the bud stem, so there is no little stems poking throughout the bud, and it will be immediately hung up to dry. there will still be a decent bit of leaf on the buds, and they will curl down as the buds hang to dry, to help slow the drying process, holding in smell. After three or four days the remaining leafy material will be trimmed off and it will be hung back up until the stems snap but the buds are still a little moist in the center. Strait into jars from there. So approximately a ten day process, which is perfect for my perpetual harvest schedule, which is about every two weeks or so, :bigjoint:. I will post the perpetual harvest schedule as soon as I write it down... what do you think so far?

Does anybody have an opinion based on the pics posted today of when I should start to flush the C-99? You can see some pictures of the tops, they are pics 16 and 17... just seeing what other people think...
I was just responding to your question of how much longer but I didnt read pics 16 and 17 and responded to pics 19 + 20. oops! But its the same advice or method I would use which is watch the trichs. Cindy looks plump for sure and the hairs are red too but I use the trichs to start the flush and harvest.

Was wondering if you have used the bag part of the cure and why you dont use it before the jars?

Ive used an inflatable poly tube for heating in a greenhouse and a friend and I use hot water to heat our greenhouses but we use benches and the heat rises to heat the greenhouse. Never goes below 64. Yu dont have benches so could you explain the plant blanket a little. I think I know what it is but my imagination could be way off. Thx

Hi loaded, how's things? I must say your grow is simply astonishing, you've got some tremendous buds coming along there. The girls are loving the conditions and the loving, tender care you are obviously giving them. I wish you all the very best for your up-coming harvest. Glad to hear you've been getting a nice hit from your samples LOL. Like you I have been trying a little here and there, but more of that on my journal which I will update with pics later today. And where are those glass pics (LOLOL)? Catch you later loaded. Keep up the excellent work ...

I won't be using the bag cure method before the jars, to slow down the cure. I have noticed a lot of bud will lose a decent amount of smell during the bag portion of the cure. Unfortunately, its not a greenhouse, and it will be much more difficult to hold temps like that without greenhouse walls. The blankets will involve clear plastic, black plastic, and a few other materials... I will go into a lot more detail when the time gets closer (right in the beginning of Oct.). The trichs are funny outdoors... some trichs start off cloudy or amber.... but most are just starting turning cloudy right now on the Big Cinderella.

I would rather keep the smaller leaves that stick out to help hold in smell, protect the trichs, and slow the dry down just a tad (RH will be going from 30-35% coming into the room, and then 40-45% leaving the room). Im not going to start harvesting for another 10-14 days, and then once every week and a half from there :) .... and I know, "patients pays!" :)

That is the second best part, growing it is the best part. Being able to get good pot to go around legally and for free! To people that really need it, that can't afford it. I am trying to work it out so that some of it I can get some compensation from, and then use the money to not only invest in future of growing, but also to get medical recommendations for some seriously ill people that I know really need it, and that are too broke to buy food, children's clothes, or much of anything really, let alone pay for herb. Not every patient gets it completely free. Its absolutely free for four of the people that I grow for, including myself. Two donate what they can when they can, and two actually work for it, :). But my goal is as yours is. its time to get the flood going of free medicine!

For sure Bro! I have a good Foundation to build on, I to just have the lack of finances. Once I get going a little better what I offer to my Patients is unique and is Beneficial to both them as well as myself.
This is the best I have felt in 39 years, If I only would of done what I wanted to and listened to myself twenty years ago, Boy the possibilities are endless..This is far more rewarding on an physical and spiritual level then I could of ever imagined!!

To watch these beautiful plants grow and know that they give the Breath of life is amazing, To be able to cut off a branch and eat it, WOW!! Not only does it heal my pain it uplifts my spirit..
Sorry I'm not trying to change the subject!!

Not off topic at all.... not in this journal! I am 100% sure that the lifestyle and character etc. of the grower affect the growing process tremendously! And I agree with you 100%. This gives me a good opportunity to talk about some goals I have for the not too far off future.
Me and my wife want to buy a good sized piece of property on some south facing mountains in a temperate climate. About 30-100 acres, of just forested land, with like a dirt drive way. And just move ourselves out there, build our own house. Build multiple greenhouses and other outdoor gardening areas.... we want to open up a nursery a few miles from wherever our land is... or where ever we live, to sell all kinds of garden plants. We would have tons of other things going on too, ;)..... But thats the gist of it... I would actually be including bits and pieces of it in this journal... some years down the road ;).....

Im working on it, :). Just went through a bunch of pictures from the last couple of years.... :).... Anyways, the temps are starting to drop nice and smoothly, so the ladies outside are not taking in quite so much water. Cinderella has continued to swell throughout the day. She is in her final 10-14 days. GDP is just about 10 days behind her, so she will definitely be next to chop. Basically, as soon as Cinderella comes out of the drying room, and into jars, GDP is going into the drying room. As soon as the GDP goes into Jars, Sensi Star, Grape Ape, and SSDNL are going into the drying room, as soon as they go into jars Little Cinderella, Don Juan and Purple Kush are going into the drying room, and as soon as they go into jars the strait Sour Diesel and the 1st batch of GDP clones are going into the drying room, and when they go into jars another batch of GDP will go into the drying room, and when that goes into jars another batch of GDP will go into the drying room, followed by two more batches of GDP, before more SSDNL go into the drying room.... and I will probably pick up more seeds and clones along the way, if I find the kinds of genetics I want.... would definitely like to play around with the G-13, AK, Purple Haze, a lot more Grape Ape, more Sour diesel, I will have tons of Sensi Star, Santa Berry does look very nice, and so does the HiJack, and there was a strain call "Your Face" that I got like three years ago that fucking blew my mind, I want more of that, and I will have an army of C-99, and C-99xBlue Berry! :) Wanted to check out some Strawberry Cough too, some Soma, and some Romulan! Yeah, so that is the perpetual harvest schedule, as it is, there may be more to add to it ;)....

Have you tried any of TGA stuff like Vortex, Space Queen and Jack the Ripper? They are Cindy crosses. I wouldnt mind some purple cindy or Earls Widow cindy either. Can you tell I like the Cindy. :blsmoke: Also want to find some Mean Martian Green aka Green Crack. Saw some clones earlier in the year but missed them. You have a nice lineup waiting to be grown and one waiting for the bottle.

I'd just like to say I think what you guys are doing regarding helping med patients is incredible - good on ya guys!!! Rep+ for you. If there were more people with your attitude then this world would be such a better place. I'm growing for med use myself, and me and my family are living on a shoestring at the moment as I'm unable to work (for the foreseeable future at least). So I know how much those you are helping will really appreciate what you are doing and the real difference you will make in their lives. Well done guys, you deserve a medal. And I sincerely hope all your plans and dreams come true for you. Keep up the excellent work ;)

The reward I get from what I do is seeing the smile on some ill peoples faces!! The sincere thank you is far more valuable then gold...

Loaded, I got some Big Bloom last night and some open sesame. I can use them with my Dr. Hornbys Right? Do I go by the Feeding schedule recommended by fox farm? Or do you suggest a personal one? Also the light schedule that you suggested, That is to be done during veg growth or Flowering?
