Question about pruning autoflower

Hello ,since I am relatively new to growing and have autoflower about 6 and a half weeks old(less than 2 weeks left according to the seed bank I brought it from) that is flowering great I want to ask can I prune autoflower in flowering stage because I have lower buds and many lower leaves? Thank you.

I wouldn't. I grow 5 autos a year, (nice to have a small harvest in July/early August) Here's what I have learned


On an auto, you need all the buds you can get. You have no time to veg so they don't get much taller than 6 feet ish

Add a good bit of fertilizer let them fatten up. (A lot, they eat fast)

Autos grow completely different than regular plants. You cut a branch off, she stops growing for a couple days.

LST and let the bottom buds get More light.

So you are telling me I shouldn't top nor prune them ? Only LST ?

dont touch them, dont top, train, cut, trick, remove dead leaves only. learn to grow them the way they express first, then experiment with training and such. Its not worth the chance of errors shorting your early supply. feed the soil your plants know exactly what to do with it. Most of my plants do exceptionally well without any training at all. If I was short on space I'd train like track star though.
