My room temp is 30°C. My tent is 34°C so tottaly normal with COBs.You might want to consider a more powerful exhaust fan that moves more air out of the space. Holy hell man, your room is way too hot! I'm surprised that nobody else mentioned this. Too much heat and not enough ventilation (the two tend to go together) are most likely the reasons for your mold problem.
Some strains are also more prone to mold than others. If I'm running a strain that produces really dense buds I will usually top it to keep the buds on the smaller side so they have a smaller chance of growing gray hair on the main stem.
Hey Konop. Pretty shure your tent is way too hot. And for Humidity I went and got a dehumidifier but if thats not in your budget just get a couple clip fans to circulate air. Hope this helpsHow do you guys prevent mold on buds?
I have 34°C in tent, 40% humidity, 2 fans (80W) in 80x80cm tent. And I still got mold today when I chop one plant.
You heard of VPD?That 40% rh at 35degrees is too high.
You want 40-50% at like 25degrees.
If your tent were to cool to 20degrees you would be at like 80%rh.
Too hot n humid.
I see your point though, hmm I would never trust 80% rh in flower thats crazyYes, the 40% is way out of ideal range no?View attachment 3978546View attachment 3978551 And isnt this meant more for veg??
