Anyone know the efficiency of the CXB3590 3500K DB 36V at 1050A and the watts its putting out? Ive been looking for a spread sheet on it and not finding anything. Thanks in advance
Comes in second behind the cxm22 if these numbers are correct. Everything i have dug up its 66% efficiency on the DBrecent test of DB bin. keep in mind all these chips are performing within 5-10% of each other depending on wattage so cost is a primary factor as well. CXB is about twice the cost of any chip in the test

Honestly man, you will get pretty much the same results from all of them. You might be able to put out a few more photons with a certain chip, but are you to the point in your growing that it will really make a difference? Pick a chip that suits your design. Want the lowest startup cost? 1212. Running a bunch of chips at low power? CXM22 looks great. Running a few chips at high wattage? Vero 29s are excellent. Want to spend a bunch of money and hang with the cool kids? CXB. While efficiency is important, it isn't the only factor to consider.Have any side by side grows between a CXB and a comparable model? I would like to see them in action before pulling the trigger on a cheaper chip.
Efficiency is one of the biggest for me, I rather spend a extra grand and make back 3-4 over its life compared to one using more electric. Plus i can get a more even spread with 20 CXB running at 1050 and still have plenty of penetration.Honestly man, you will get pretty much the same results from all of them. Then there's your answer. CXB it is.Efficiency is one of the biggest for me, I rather spend a extra grand and make back 3-4 over its life compared to one using more electric. Plus i can get a more even spread with 20 CXB running at 1050 and still have plenty of penetration.
he wants efficiency there are over half a dozen chips more efficient than CXB, some are more expensive, some are half the costThen there's your answer. CXB it is.
This is also true. But op seems pretty set on Cree.he wants efficiency there are over half a dozen chips more efficient than CXB, some are more expensive, some are half the cost
in no order

Honestly been out of it for a long time and simply do not know where to start with a new Chip. How much better are the cxm32 and what are they going for?thats fine, its his money. they grow great crops.
