I have that, unfortunately.
That class of drugs helps and not just with the ED part.
My urologist once told me patients who lose their testicles to cancer never ever get BPH.

As a veteran, I don't care if you need pills to get your dick hard. Sounds like a valid medical problem that needs fixing. I'd rather they get what they need than be worried about their dick not working while we are getting shot at.
Why do people care about this instead of tricare no longer covering nexium (esomeprazole)? GERD is much more prevalent than ED and they no longer cover the medication that works the best for a lot of people. They're switching to omeprazole (prilosec) and other alternatives.
I fucking hate tricare and the military medical system.

I get my health care from the VA, and I don't have any complaints about it. They take very good care of my health.
However, I recently figured something out. I have been taking two allergy medications for several years, and my prescription co-pay is $96 per year for each. I found that I can buy the same medications--exactly the same--at Costco for much less. The 1-year supply costs $50 for one and $9 for the other!

Yeah the VA sends my stuff in the mail where ever I tell them to. It is a pretty good system but it can still improve. A couple of years ago in San Diego I went to the ER at the VA hospital on La Jolla Village in the hopes of safely passing a stone and I was already alternating between writhing in pain and feeling fine, anyone who has experienced renal colic doesn't need an explanation. It was about 1AM. I was between attacks and I calmly explained my emergency, was told I would have to wait about 7 hours and "here, take this paperwork and wait over there". By the time I got back to my dad's van I was in agony again.
My dad suggested we go to Mexico and within half an hour I was across the border headed to a privately owned urgent care clinic with public options. When I arrived there, I was not asked how I could pay for it. I was asked by a doctor (who offered to speak with me in English) what my symptoms were, how long I had been experiencing them, etc. I was in the middle of an attack at that particular moment. Within two minutes of my arrival, I was on a bed and being prepared for the insertion of a catheter. Another nurse was already giving me injections and had an iv bag set up before they even knew my name.
By dawn, I was ready to have the catheter removed as the stone was too big to enter it, so simply by removing it I could finish passing the stone. Within an hour I was paying less than $800 US for the whole thing and walking out with prescriptions filled. That was a 7mm calcium stone. It took four hours to get back to the US side of the line.

I've only had positive experience with the VA, they've taken care of me.
Buuuuuut tricare prime and active duty "medical" can eat a dumptruck full of dicks, they let a friend who said they were going to kill themselves leave after confessing that to a doctor. Luckily we caught them before anything happened, but yeah. They took their time getting my wife the medication she needed and her condition worsened, we got on state insurance and she got that shit immediately. Active duty medical sucks tons of dicks in my experience.
