Apparently yes. I never took any abnormal psych classes so I do not understand but I am sure their motivations are pretty basic and not very interesting.

The Mayor of the City of Charlottesville and the Governor of Virginia had no trouble identifying the fascists, Nazis and KKK as the cause of the trouble.
The chief of police for Charlottesville said combatants were "mutually engaged". When asked if one side was more responsible for the violence, the chief said "this was an alt right rally". He didn't embellish but the man who would know wasn't talking about Antifa. The chief also said that the alt right chose to diverge from an agreed upon safety plan and began entering the park from different sides in direct conflict with the plan.
Trump can say what he likes but the people who were there are saying Antifa weren't the cause of this violence. So take it away, @twostrokenut , now is the time for you to again defy logic and blame the defenders for the attacks.

I remember when antifa blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City. That day the anti defamation league took over that wildlife refuge in Oregon was a terrible terrible day.

Trump does what Trump does. Nobody knows what he's going to do next.
The Governor of Virginia, the Mayor of Charlottesville, the chief of police of Charlottesville all agree that the violence this weekend was due to the actions of the alt right.
The Alt right was in that car. The Alt right broke with the safety plans agreed to in advance. The Alt right came to Charlottesville armed to the teeth. And the leaders who were closest to the event all agree, the members of the Alt right who came to the rally are responsible.
I just did a stupid thing. I hope I don't get it shoved up my a$$ (snicker).

We had similar anger in Portland Oregon when the neo-Nazi killed two people just days before those fucking alt right came to town. If any of us could have gotten a clean shot at the organizer of that event, no hesitation.
In all these events, a few hundred Nazis show and thousands counter-protest. Only a few of us actually lay hands on the Nazis. The rest show up to rebuke the Nazis and ensure they do not walk the streets unopposed carrying their Nazi flags.
Nazi flags. Can you believe it? They are carrying Nazi flags.
