Ok thats what I would have thought, just everything I found say F1 is two diff strains being bred.

Yes, more kush seeds.Excuse my ignorance but googling is confusing.
If I grow 10 Kush seeds and select a male n female to breed, what are the resulting seeds called?
Just more Kush seeds? Lol
Thx
Because it is, F1 "hybrid" uses 2 discernibly different lines.Ok thats what I would have thought, just everything I found say F1 is two diff strains being bred.
a) They are still called seedsExcuse my ignorance but googling is confusing.

The seeds in question would be called Kush IBL. IBL stands for Inbred Line. When two siblings from the same generation of seeds are mated together the resulting outcome will always be an inbred line. Many growers make seeds this way thinking that they've made "F2's" of their favorite strains, they are misinformed.Yes, more kush seeds.
Without knowing the parents there's no tellng what it is. An F1 (first filial) requires two different parents, so 10 kush seeds making seeds sounds more like f2.
In the end it doesn't matter if you're just making seeds.
What a persuasive argument you make, and backed up by so many facts, as well.Wrong
"Kush" seeds are unrelated? You're skipping a key fundamental at this stage. What a persuasive argument you make, and backed up by so many facts, as well.
To make regular seeds there needs to be two parents, P1, and P2.
F1 is the first filial generation of this pairings offspring.
P1xP2=F1
Please enlighten us, what key fundamental am I skipping? I showed all of my work and backed it up. As where you just keep making vague comments that you won't elaborate on."Kush" seeds are unrelated? You're skipping a key fundamental at this stage.
I did, put quotes around "kush" asking about their relation, this is the key. Please enlighten us, what key fundamental am I skipping? I showed all of my work and backed it up. As where you just keep making vague comments that you won't elaborate on.
So you are saying the [Triangle Kush Cookies X Nightcap X Sinmint] X [Shit/Skunk] that I IBL'ed might not be stable? She has a lot in her gene pool, and you are seeing what might come out. True breeding varieties might be closer to identical, but polyhybrids and such are going to have many expressions as it's an in cross, or an f2 but you've limited the pairs to only what she can offer. So if she has some recessive traits you might be seeing a lot of the come out whereas whatever the dad was in the previous generation maybe you see much of what he donated in the mom you selfed. I could be wrong and am really stoned and read this somewhere, also sometimes I dream
Its actually quit common in the ag industry to sell f1 seeds. They are fairly uniform and fast growing.F1 seeds are first generation. Like a mix between two strains, the first (un stable ) seeds are f1) It takes at least 10 -15 generations of stable mixes to create stable seeds. But I may be wrong though
F1 is a cross between two strains. It could be reg or fem beans.heyy guys,
I hear this term thrown around every once in a while, and so I gather it means Selfed? But what the hell does that actually mean? Like what's the difference between S1 and F1 seeds?
peace
Don't you hate it when that happens. I think only nubes use the RIU search feature. Not that there is anything wrong with nubes.Damn. Another old thread got me.
Closer but still not convention."F1 is a cross between two strains. It could be reg or fem beans."
