Ive read some of those 1000w leds only pull in the 200watt areas. Some are different like 400ish. Which one do u have? I think the leds look cooler on a panel. I built a veg led light fixture and i love how it looks. 240 diodes "5630" led per panel 2 panels. And on a dimmer. It get super bright. Works great for my veg cab. Yeah i soldered all 32 strips and ill tell ya took about 3 so hours to put together but what do i have better to do on a sunday hahahaView attachment 4000939
Nice build bro, good job on all that soldering.

You use that for clones too? That a nice lil propagating area, and i bet it felt good when you finished that project and fired it up and it lit up.
Could use for clones for sure. I have a shyt ton of seeds tho im tryna use. Might do 8 solos and veg for 2 weeks tp flip to 12 12. So many options to chose from right now. When i started indoor again this year i shoulda built a bigger flower box lol. I only have (2) 2x2 areas. Which r both being used for flower right now. But man after all the work on that light got it plugged up turned it on and i swear i almost nutted my shorts hahaha. Like a junkie getting his fix. Lol

Ordering another 2000 watt next week. this light has amazing reds. I might order 2 and keep one as a back up.
1. Stop calling these lights "1000 watt" and "2000 watt". They aren't.

2. Please stop supporting these bs companies that push these bs lights.

People in this thread have already tried to lead you in the right direction, and instead you went "nope guys, sorry - need to pick up another 9000 watt ufo."

Oh, and I have to ask - what makes the red diodes in this light so amazing?

Dude get off yourself. Your nucking futz! I truly don't give a hoot how many watts u think it is or isn't, All I know is that it beets the piss off my old lights and that's good enuff for me. If you wanna write all the Chinese companies and argue with them about the way they label their lights that's on u man.... Go right ahead. As for me maybe i will write them and thank them for making efficient affordable lights that work great. I don't have to explain my shit to u because i don't owe you anything. I know you wont be happy until i run out and buy the same light u own but that's not gonna happen bro. Cheers!

when you see this, just run away. if they dont state actual wattage it is almost certainly a ripoff
Coming from a guy who has cob kits as a profile picture. Your not a little bias are you? I agree if it doesn't state the wattage don't buy. I would never buy the unkown.

Feel better?

You know the light is a 185 watt light. Why keep referring to it as a 1000, when you know it's not. I'm guessing the "2000 watt" light is closer to 360 watts. So why not just call it that?

You're gonna write budget LED companies in China to thank them for ripping people off? Alright. Have fun with that.

You don't have to own the exact same light as me. I was just trying to help, but instead you got all worked up and typed all that nonsense above. Do you need a hug?

Like i said your nuts. who walks around pushing peoples buttons and then downshifts to offering man-hugs. Im not a huggy type of guy. My sister got those genes I guess. I like the way u try and twist my words around. I never said i would thank them for ripping people off. How does offering a nicely built light for cheep ripping people off?? I think your too stoned to have this conversation right now buddy.
p.s... I bought some led lights for outside my front and back door. They say they are 23w but equivalent to 100w. I better start referring to those as 23 watters or i think your gonna start all that hug talk again. lol.

Dude. It's a little like my blurple light. It's advertised as a 135w light. Then goes on to say it's actual power draw is only 90w. I don't go saying it's a 135w light when I know it's about 2/3 of that.

Not having a stab at ya. Just saying.

What about them?

Obvious sarcasm was obvious.

I never said i would thank them for ripping people off.
My suggestion was better than the verbal reach around you were offering.

How does offering a nicely built light for cheep ripping people off??
Nicely built? I'm sorry, what???

I think your too stoned to have this conversation right now buddy.
The irony - it's palpable.

They are 23 watters. I use diffuser removed, 100 watt equivalent A19 LEDs in my veg tent. They use 14.5 watts, so I refer to them as 15 watters. I don't try to trick myself into thinking I have 200 watts in each corner, when I only have 30.

Something else to consider. The 185 watt light you are using is equivalent to 185 watts.
