I teaspoon per litre. Works a treat dissolved in warm RO waterNever seen someone use epsom salt add a foliar. What's the mix?
'A teaspoon in a litre' bloody Brit, lolI teaspoon per litre. Works a treat dissolved in warm RO water
Haha! Is that what a teaspoon of stuff weighs?'A teaspoon in a litre' bloody Brit, lol
Aka 20g per gallon to us damned Yanks!
Seems like a lot at first glance but mag sulfate isn't like most salts.
What condition were you correcting with the foliar spray?
It's a rate. I don't mix entire gallons, either.Haha! Is that what a teaspoon of stuff weighs?
Does seem a lot, did try a half the first time
A teaspoon as measurement is shit, its true. im not giving you a gallon, though. A litre makes total sense whilst a gallon is an absolute mess winds me up that does.
Had a magnesium deficiency. I use cannas calmag supplement but it contains N which is annoying. The Epsom salt foliar's great at stopping mag def and greening up the plants. I also added it to the rez too, first time ever and only about a quarter teaspoon I think a teaspoon per 25 litres in a rez was mentioned but check first.
A U.S gallon is less than an imperial gallon too!Haha! Is that what a teaspoon of stuff weighs?

Damm Yanks and their 12.009499204287 gallon hats...........It's a rate. I don't mix entire gallons, either.
Epsom salt = magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. Hepta means 7, hydrate means water; there's 7 water molecules in every molecule of epsom salt. That makes it weaker than most 'dry' nutrient salts and so I think your ratio is good.
What nutrients do you use? I add epsom salt to my hydroponic mix and I see few of any deficiencies.
Lol that's a mystery to me, too- it's mostly water already but doesn't dissolve quickly? I think it's God playing tricks on us!Cheers @ttystikk then why does it seem to take an age to dissolve? It looks just like ketamine. Are other powdered nutes a bitch to mix?
I use the canna coco range, canna coco pro coir too. I re use the coco though and I think that's had something to do with the recent mag def, well that coupled with mag hungry plants. Oh and RO water
@Madmungo boils my blood mate! @Moflow exactly! should of scrapped it
One imperial gallon is 4.54 litres.Damm Yanks and their 12.009499204287 gallon hats...........
