Hi everyone. I'm relatively new to growing. Haven't managed to grow anything successfully yet. It's between inexperience, bad weather. And two critters that like to munch on my garden. One of which is my dog... The other is fookin caterpillars.

Anyway... I've decided to go indoors for at least the medicinal part of the garden. I went and got a cabinet that's about 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.6 ft Or 36 x 36 x 80 cm (W,D,H). I'm going to try a decent soil mix. In an 11 liter bucket, that's about 24cm high.

I've chosen a seemingly decent looking GrowSmart: GS-135, 90w, full spectrum LED as my light of choice. Got that on special for $340 with controller. It's 7cm deep. And about 22 x 22cm wide.

I'm currently lacking in an extractor of any kind (I know I'll need one). And only have couple of bagseeds at my disposal. All of which came from some tasty smoke.

I've been looking into fimming and lst-ing as options for height control. And yeild boosting.

So. My questions are. If I had some decent beans to plant. What could I expect to yield from a cabinet this size, on average? What beans would you use in something this size? And does anything else need to be changed with this setup?

Yet another score. 10 x 10-12L buckets for $20. Some with lids. Some without. Some even look like they could almost be suitable for dwc. Or a bubble cloner. Hey @vostok. They're about 21cm wide in a square x 30cm tall. Meaning. I can use 4 of them in my big cab!

And I've got about 8kg of used coffee grounds from the same place too.

Sounds like solid planning. My first plant has budded, I'll be lucky to get 7-9 grams lol. But I'm learning, my second plant is doing much better, it's the only one I poured piss on. Lolol
I have a small grow tent 2x2x4. My wife was going to throw away an old entertainment center, I looked at it n thought, cab grow. She let me put it in my grow room.

Haha I have done that.
I used to eat naga chili so often it hurt to wee too. I had to stop in the end, now I cant handle the heat anymore.

What kind of Chili's? My wife loves hot peppers n I hate bugs in my grow room.

I'm going to pot up my Carolina Reaper and Bhut Jolokia today. The buckets are 10L. Going to poke a bunch of holes in there too.

I know about not pissing before washing your hands- when working with chillies. So does one of my ex's dads. Made him scream like a girl after cutting Birdseyes.

I used to frequent a burrito joint where I lived last. And I'd always get a good serving of their Satans Blood sauce. I was eating it that much. I ended up being told by a doctor not to have anymore. As it was eating me too. Got stomach ulcers from it.

I wouldn't worry about yields too much- I'm Batman. Look into getting a cob in your grow space. Doesn't need to be the latest and greatest tech. Even a cxb3590 or Vero 18 will still give good performance. I didn't get much from my first run either.

It's all about reading your plants. They'll tell you if something is up. You just got to know what you're looking at.

The pineapple clone didn't happen. Whatever was buried ended up as slimy mush. And some of the other clones don't seem to be taking.

I may need to ditch the contents and give the cloner a wash with a weak bleach solution.

Everything else seems fine. Momma is still blooming nicely. The clones are still alive too... Well, at least the ones I have are. Don't know about the one I gave to idiot though. That could very well be dead already.

Not too much else to report. Except that I've added a compost tea brewing station to the mix.

Here's some random shots of it all. Plus a trich shot.

Momma smells really fruity. Kinda like a lemon Starburst. But with more zing. And less fake lemon. I'm not sure how to describe exactly. But it's really nice. I could just about snort a bud smelling them.

They're whatever they were when I ate them. Some just ripe. Others more so. I'm pretty sure the whole banana contains potassium. Not just the fruit. Also ethylene. Which has been suggested to play a role in a myriad of other plants. But in cannabis it's a hormone I belive used to make female seeds or something of the sort. I forget. Also- it's 3am...

I want to get an aloe vera plant next. Grow that nice and big. Then add part of that to the tea. That's full of PGRs like salicylic acid.

Yeah I know about aloe Vera, really good for starting clones and root growth. I'll check out the bananas though
