The wealth creators, founders such as Hewlett and Packard, Jobs, and other entrepreneurs who grew businesses and created new jobs are different from the rent seekers like Trump and the vulture capitalists like the Kochs. Not all paths to great wealth are vile. Tax policies that soak the rich should encourage investment that grows jobs and the economy. This isn't hard but requires thought and political will.

Founders are the creative geniuses who figure it out. Without Bill and Dave or in the case of Apple's Jobs, those great creative and capable worker's efforts are wasted by lesser leaders. Leadership matters dumbshit. But not just any leadership, leaders with vision and commitment to the company. Leadership that understands the value of employees is part of the answer too.

Once the founders depart, great companies regress to the mean and eventually get bought out by an international conglomerate.

I have more connections to the local real estate market than you can shake a Rolodex at. They aren't building starter home, they're building move up homes and McMansions left and right, because those are the people with money, stupid!

The bottom 50% of Americans aren't in the real estate market because they can't afford the inflated prices, thanks to a decade of low or zero interest rate policy.

I mean, duh.
