Help me understand drivers

Hello everyone first post long time lurker lol. I am looking to upgrade from my mars 300w (135 actual) to a cob setup for my 2×2×4 tent. I have been thinking about running 4 maybe 5 Vero 29 gen 7 d series chips (3000k) on a mean Well hlg 185h-1050b driver. To my understanding the fv of the d series is 36v and the driver puts out 190v dc. So 190/36=5.27 so I can run 5 cobs at 38v each at 1050ma. I watched growmau5's noob video and he says the all the hlg drivers are 200w. My question is how many watts will I be pulling from the wall with this setup. I pay out the add for electricity so I like to know what I'm drawing. Any help is appreciated. Thank you so much.

Watts = volts x amps
So 5 cobs at 36v is 180
That driver will run them at 1050 ma so 37.8w each or or 189w roughly

You might wanna consider the vero 18's for that rig, the vero chips don't really gain much from underdriving so better to match your cob selection to your rated driver output, you could go with the 72v 29's and just drive 2 at near their rated output (120w each).
5 x vero 18 = £50(ish) uk prices, 2 x vero 29 = £50 so your 5 x 29's to output 200w would set you back £125 and gain very little in overall efficiency. Also if you have 2 x 2 x 4 you are really gonna want to spread the light as thinly as possible or risk bleaching your plants, so I'd go with more lower watt cobs rather than fewer higher output ones.

Theres a really long thread 'matching drivers and cobs'. Im on my phone but it should be able to find with a simple search

Thank you guys so much. What voltage would make the 36v vero 29 more efficient? Does anyone have a spreadsheet on hand for the Vero 29 d series

http://www.bridgelux.com/sites/default/files/resource_media/DS33 Vero 29 Array Data Sheet Rev L 20160606.pdf
not sure if thats a gen 6 or 7 spec sheet.
https://www.digikey.co.uk/products/en/optoelectronics/led-lighting-cobs-engines-modules/111
drill down the filters to find your cob, then click on the datasheet link.

You really got me interested in the Vero 18's Now because of the price point. Anyone got a data sheet for those. Sorry guys lol

Citi 1825 gen 6 are much more efficient than the Veros. Even though the spec sheet say they are nearly the same, if you dissect the numbers, the Veros' L/W calculation is made using the 25C Tc temp lux number, while Citi uses the real world 85C number. If you calculate the Veros' L/W using the 85C number it comes out to only 139 L/W
