Eh !

Can someone please tell me a RELIABLE pH meter to buy !!! PLEASE !!! I've bought two now and I don't believe either, even after callabration. I bought RO water and they tested it at 7.1pH I test the one I bought the next day and it's 5.3pH ... No way. So please send a link for a good pH meter !

amazon. they all work well. hanna is gooder.
stop calibrating with unknown liquid and get some known calibration fluid aye. your meters are likely fine

IMO____ go to your nearest 7/11 and get some $5.00 ph swim pool strips

a cheap and easy way to check your ebay/amazonchinesemade PH pen

Apera Instruments AI209. It's $45.75 on Amazon at the moment. Very accurate and performs as good or better than the $100+ high end units.

When I'm not using it I fill the cap to the fill line with RO water. Every week or two I'll dip it in 7.0 solution and it's never it off by more than .1. In which I just press the calibrate button and it's good to go again.

It does water temperature, comes in a nice hard case with foam inserts for the unit, 4.0, 7.0, and laminated instructions. It's also waterproof. This thing was a gamechanger for me because I was accustomed to using the cheap yellow ones that needed to be adjusted all the time.

Strange... All I have ever seen is the NOT as far as water goes. My HM checks as close as yours on calibration. I just use the left over 4.0 from testing.

yeah i know. you aren't the first one that has been anti RO at RIU. mine's been in it since day 1 and it's been a great meter. even took a quick swim in my res a few weeks ago. took the cover off, let it dry and still accurate. lol.

Mine gets a ton of use... Between the cucumbers peppers and weed, can't believe I have yet to drop it. I won't be afraid to leave the cap behind and just use my wash cup when I'm outside.
