Well done, Atlanta!

The City of Atlanta has voted to decriminalize marijuana possession of one ounce or less. From now on, rather than a 1000 dollar fine and 6 months in jail, you get a 75 dollar ticket (the same as a parking meter violation).

It may not sound like much, but this is a HUGE leap forward for the State of Georgia.

Hats off to the Atlanta City Police and the Atlanta City Council for getting this done.
