That stuff has time released nitrogen. Might as well use miracle grow...
I would disagree. With that advice and it's probably very similar cost of fox farms pound per pound. I try to get all Nitrogen gone before my last 2 weeks

Fox farms happy frog soil costs like 10-15 $$ a bag
By the time you buy 8-10 cfls and fixtures and cords you could've just bought a shitty led or flourecent
Here's my 2-3 week old plant I run under flourescent. Not much to look at but very healthy and has a huge root mass. I eventually will put under hps but that's just my style. But I grow soilless.View attachment 4021816
Here's a pic of the roots on the plant20171005_211024.jpg

I love coco coir. I did Hempy bucket with vermiculite perlite first grow, then used pro mix hp, which I came to hate, kinda like cheap potting soil, really heavy in big containers. I used charged coco but have used regular just fine too. I think it's easiest of the three mediums iv used.

If u put it in air or smart pots you can't overwater it which is great for nubes. If ur on a budget make your own by using a milk crate or some plastic basket from dollar store, line it with weed block fabric like u put under mulch in your yard n fill. It also makes transplanting a breeze with the rootball wrapped in that fabric, pull it out of container unfold the fabric off football and upper with pretty much zero transplant steps.

Coco great for being on budget as can be used a couple times or more... even after a couple times can be blended with new..

Yeah I went ahead and harvested. I did pickup some organic soil along with some perlite and now have 4 100w bulbs for my lighting.

Absolutly. Its a journey not a destination. If you ever get "there" with nothing to learn and nothing you can improve on, its time to hang up the gardening scheers
