Is this a deficiency?

Empire sanctuary soil
Indoor grow tent with cob leds

Been vegging but the new growth seems to be very light and has slowed down. I was thinking some micro nutrient deficiency maybe from pH lockout? Looks worse under my light, too it outside for the second pic which doesn't look quite as bad.

I have only been giving it plain RO water and nothing else as I figured the soil had nutrients in it still and I didn't have a ph meter or pH adjusters until yesterday.

I just got both a meter as well as a full line of nutrients with some pH up/down.

Wanted to start flowering soon, but I don't want to if she's not doing well.

what fertilizers do you have?

whats the EC/PPM and PH of your source water before its filtered?

is there more than 1 plant in the pot? what size containers are they and how long have they been in them?

feel the weight of the dry dirt filled pot?
now add 1/4th the container dirt volume in water, like a quart of water to 1 gallon of dry dirt all at once
dont add more water until the container is light again, dry to the bottom, before the plant wilts.

doing it another way could be your culprit

I have nectar for the gods nutrients but have not used it yet.

RO water but I didn't have anything to measure I think RO is supposed to be nearly 0ppm and 7ph?

It's only 1 plant in a 2 gallon pot, has been in for 2-3 weeks

And I don't think it's over watering, I am pretty good about letting it dry out and get light before I water again.

2 gallon pots 3 weeks in... you might need some food but I wouldn't give it much.. often/most times the directions on the bottle are not good and suggest way tooo much

if you want to take the time to provide info on your fertilizer I can tell you how I would mix it

for a full look post pics of the bottles showing the % amount info on the label and the name of the bottle for each bottle
and also what its derived from

it does look that way with the leaf drop

I also see some leaf twist asking for some Epsom salt

I just got the water from a store that does the filtration, you just bring a bottle and fill it up and they charge you by the gallon.
The plant was watered the day before the picture, but it was so dry I didn't even want to risk waiting for my pH stuff to come in. Though the leaves look pretty similar before/after the watering.

I can give you picture of the nutes when I get home later.

im just wondering if you need to go thru the trouble of transporting filtered water if your tap water from home is perfectly acceptable

if the soil you purchased is of any quality I wouldn't guess you've got a ph issue and you shouldn't need to worry about ph adjusting solution in a quality soil that already has lime in it to buffer the ph

im guessing a little food is in order,

often the response to that need is over done...so the point is not to over feed it

id also consider up potting with in the next couple weeks ... its not absolutely necessary yet but it will help you manage good health more easily

I think the soil is good stuff, the hydro shop guy said most people liked it even more than ocean forest and happy frog was probably the least popular of the 3 they carried.

Ok so I just tested all the water I have available right now.
I just got the pH meter and calibrated it with the 2 solutions so I hope these readings are accurate

I have a 5 gallon jug of spring water
7.4ph 50ppm

Distilled
6.5ph 0ppm

Tap
8.2ph 230ppm

Isn't distilled supposed to be 7ph? Or did I calibrate meter incorrectly?

distilled ph changes when its exposed to air

ph 6.5 for distilled water doesn't sound unusual

mine test about 6.8 ish


your tap water is fine.... you don't really need to lug the spring water around

I cant suggest the amount of fertilizer without the % info

it depends on how far the directions are out
some brands its 1/4 strength...many brands it half strength... and on occasion the directions are good

the high Ph of your tap water might suggest it has a good bit of calcium in it which is a good thing

of course that's just a guess based on my experience and cant be confirmed without a water analysis

how many watts are you running to each cob?
could your lights be too close? how high are the lights above the top of the plants?

About 24-28 inches above the tops
The plant having the problem isn't the tallest one, but it is the oldest

Here are my nutrients and the schedule that came with them, they also came with a little bottle of slf-100. They need to be watered tonight or tomorrow so let me know how strong you think I should run it and we'll see how it goes.

I cant guide you on mixing these nutes

these are organic nutes and not water soluble fertilizers which is a whole different ball game

I have zero experience using liquid organic nutes...sorry

So I transplanted it into a bigger pot and watered with light nutrients ~250ppm 6.3ph.
A couple of the lower very small leaves are completely yellow, so that could mean it was deficient?

id feed it again with about 600ppm and also add 1/2 tsp Epsom salt per gallon

then cut back to 1/4 tsp Epsom salt per gallon
