Your right that in confusing. On the new leaves mid way to bottom of them. I'm running full high pressure aero. No media. I sprayed coco wet, magic green, khoas bloom, cal mag, and nutes at 6.0. Now that I type that out. That's a heavy foliar plus res ec at 2.5mid to bottom leaf chlorosis and new growth that looks like the picture?
The post and title are confusing to me.
Also, I see 5.7-5.9 PH so are we in coco or hydro?
I believe that makes perfect sense. I'll work on not babying them too much foliar feeding is a double edged sword.i think you hit it yourself, 2.5 ec is high to begin with, then you're foliar feeding on top of it? i foliar feed as little as possible, may do it if something gets severe, but if you're on top of your plants, you should never really need to foliar feed. roots are designed to absorb nutrients, leaves were designed to exchange gasses, if you keep clogging up the stomata foliar feeding, its like you're water boarding your plants, not quite drowning them, but making them work to breath
Yeah I think it was a trifecta of issues. High ec water, high ec foliar and when the light was on. The New growth looks fine but I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks everyone for the help.i don't think it was the foliar feeding by itself, i think it was the foliar feeding on top of 2.5 ec.
and i do think if you do too much foliar feeding, you start to clog your stomata and choke the plants...
